The Gorge Classic Polyester has been the cornerstone of Cascade's success since 1983. Known for it's smooth, predictable feel on the water, the Classic Polyester is a high performance high wind custom board that is durable, easy to repair, and affordable. These boards are hand shaped polyurathane foam with double stringers. The foam is excellent and manufactured by Just Foam in California. The boards are glassed beefy and gorge-proven with a combination of 4+6 oz. 'S' glass. Bottom glassing consists of two full length layers plus a jump patch. Top glassing includes three layers full length with an additional three layer deck patch that is glassed over the Chinook boxes and footstrap inserts. Rails are double wrapped (four layers total). The resin is a clear and U.V. stabilized manufactured by Reichold. The fin box is reinforced with MDF woodies and carries a lifetime warrantee. Custom graphics and pin striping are also available.
